What IQ+ does, how it handles your data, and what working with Maverick Dynamics looks like. Don't see your question? Ask us at the bottom of the page.
IQ+ basics
What is IQ+?
IQ+ is software built with AI, for AI, for machine builders. It connects every machine you ship back to your business: diagnostics, service, spare parts and production analytics in one low-cost platform. The family includes IQ+ Concierge for support case management with AI answers, IQ+ Sentinel for managing solar-powered lighting and security products, and Solar IQ+ for managing solar power plants.
Machine builders and OEMs who want to support every machine they ship, manufacturers ready to grow spare parts and service revenue, small and mid-size OEMs competing with larger names, technical support teams who want to raise their level of support, and solar plant owners managing mixed inverter fleets.
Does Solar IQ+ support IEEE 1547-2018 Volt-VAR?
Yes. IEEE 1547-2018 is the standard for connecting solar and other distributed energy resources to the grid, and Volt-VAR is one of the functions it calls for: as grid voltage rises or falls, inverters absorb or supply reactive power to help keep voltage in range. Solar IQ+ helps your plant meet the Volt-VAR curve your utility sets, working at the point of interconnection.
Do I have to replace my SCADA system?
No. SCADA and IQ+ are two different products built for two different jobs. SCADA gives a manufacturer the health of its process: faults, alarms and operator control. IQ+ is built for the machine builder's business: service, spare parts and support across every machine shipped.
IQ+ is low cost by design. We built it in-house from scratch, so there are no third-party SCADA runtime fees or per-seat licensing fees to pass on to you, and production analytics come standard instead of as an add-on. Tell us about your machines and we'll put together a quote.
Which AI does IQ+ use?
We stay vendor-agnostic and move to whichever AI engine performs best. IQ+ Concierge started at about $0.20 per question, moved weeks later to a better engine at about $0.03, and now runs at about $0.005. Same product, better answers, 1/40th the original cost.
Using IQ+
Where do the AI answers come from?
From your own sources of truth: the manuals, schematics, service records and spreadsheets you load. Every answer lists the sources it used, so your team can check it. The more you use it, the more it has to draw on.
How do my customers request service?
A QR tag on the machine opens a short form with the machine and customer details already filled in. Your customer picks what they need, such as spare parts, service or consumables, and the request arrives in IQ+ as a complete case.
What happens when a machine faults or someone hits an E-stop?
IQ+ records live machine events and alerts the right people. An E-stop, for example, can notify safety, maintenance and the plant manager, and every event stays in that machine's history.
Can IQ+ help us sell more spare parts?
Yes. Spare parts, service and consumable reorders are tied to each machine's serial number, so you can see what each machine needs and quote it before your customer has to ask.
What equipment can IQ+ connect to?
IQ+ connects through common industrial protocols, including Modbus and SunSpec. We work with IDEC controllers and HMIs, we program and integrate drives from any major manufacturer, and Solar IQ+ is built to work with any number of inverter products. If your machine has a controller, tell us what it is and we'll tell you how we'd connect it.
Security and privacy
How do you keep our data secure?
Each customer's records are kept separate at the database level, so one company can never see another company's data. Case history can't be deleted, which gives you an auditable record of what was done, when and why.
Who owns our machine data, and is it used to train AI?
You own it. We use your data to train the AI for your own applications, and we never share one customer's data with another customer.
Can the AI change our records on its own?
No. The assistant can look things up and suggest next steps, but it can't change your records. When it suggests something like opening a case, it hands you a form that's already filled in, and a person reviews and submits it.
Why don't you list more customers?
Many of the companies we work with have us under non-disclosure agreements, so we can't name them, show their logos or talk about their projects. The partners on our site have given us permission. If you work with us, your name stays private unless you say otherwise.
Yes. We design control panels and check them out before they ship, deliver PLC, HMI and drive programming, design machine safety systems and write sequences of operations. We also serve as the controls partner on full machine builds for OEMs.
Yes. In August and September 2026, our Beyond the Chatbot seminar series walked manufacturers and machine builders through seven rules for building an AI roadmap, starting with defining the terms. The rules and our terms and definitions are on our AI Roadmap page, and our AI Update newsletter rounds up what matters for manufacturing every two weeks. We can also build a custom AI roadmap for your team, aligned with your business goals.
It depends on the application. Some customers are up and running in a few weeks, and our larger projects run longer than a year. Either way, we set a clear timeline at the start and keep you updated on it until the work is done.
Where are you located, and do you travel to customer sites?
Our office is at 63 Sherks Church Road in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. And yes, we travel. We work on site with customers across the United States, and being there in person is a core part of what we do.
How do we see a demo?
Book a video or phone call and tell us when works for you. You can also send us a note with the form below. You can also see IQ+ live at FABTECH 2026, booth C2249, October 21–23 in Las Vegas.
